Why We Don't Recommend Ultrasonic Nebulisers:

Ultrasonic nebulisers are more expensive and fragile than compressors, may cause drug degradation and do not nebulise suspensions well. This means that they are not suitable for inhaled steroids or anti-biotics.

High frequency sound waves nebulise the drug which sometimes produces inconsistent results. This means that due to different size droplets being produced, the quality of the therapy you receive can be variable.
